There are allegedly reports that holidaymakers suffered from varying degrees of gastric illness following their stay at the Traders Hotel in Kuala Lumpur in April 2008. It is alleged that a number of guests contracted food poisoning as a result of their stay at this hotel and that they also experienced significant quality issues including poor standards of food hygiene. A number of guests allegedly became ill after consuming food at the hotel which they believe was due to unsatisfactory food and hygiene at the hotel.
