Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn reports of illness which have affected guests holidaying at the Holiday Village Hotel, Benalmadena in Spain. The reports of illness are linked to October 2011.
Holidaymakers have made complaints which suggest that there was a significant amount of bird faeces throughout the resort, in which staff made no effort to clean and there was no prevention put in place to stop this. Further complaints consisted of warn down hotel rooms which were hazardous to guests.
Further reports have informed us that guests staying at the resort have been ill with gastric symptoms and such as sickness, diarrhoea stomach cramps and hallucinations. The symptoms suffered by the guests staying at the resort have resulted with guests being hospitalised.
