Irwin Mitchell have received reports suggesting guests falling ill whilst holiday at the Hotel Jupiter, Alcudia in Mallorca. Reports relate to guests holidaying at the resort in November 2011.
Holidaymakers have suffered illness symptoms consisting of severe abdominal pains, diarrhoea and vomiting. The symptoms have resulted in guests being diagnosed with Cryptosporidium.
Reports have suggested guests were concerned with the cleanliness and hygiene standards at the resort. It is alleged that faeces were in the swimming pool and despite the faeces being removed, the pool was not cleaned and drained thoroughly. Complaints also suggest that the staff made no effort to clean the resort adequately.
