Illness at Serendip Hotel, Sri Lanka

Irwin Mitchell has received enquiries from holidaymakers following an outbreak of gastric illness at the Serendip Hotel in Sri Lanka.

It is alleged that guests staying the above hotel in August 2008 have been affected by symptoms of gastric illness possibly due to food and drink consumed at the resort.

Guests also allege a range of quality issues including that food was undercooked and that a large number of insects including mosquitoes were often in the hotel, allegedly resulting in insect bites to guests.

Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from anyone who has suffered from similar gastric symptoms following their stay at this hotel. You can contact us here.
