Centara Grand Beach Resort Villas, Thailand - March 2011

Irwin Mitchell is worried for holidaymakers who have recently travelled to the Centara Grand Beach Resort Villas in Thailand, particularly for those holidays taken in March 2011 as holidaymakers are returning suffering from symptoms of gastric illness.

Reports would indicate that the cause of the gastric illness may have been due to the poor quality of food and lack of hygiene standards practiced at the hotel. It is reported that many holidaymakers were falling ill with symptoms of severe diarrhoea and sickness, accompanied by painful stomach cramps. It is also reported that there were stagnant pools of water behind the Thai restaurant.

It is also reported that dirty plates and glasses were left uncollected for up to five days outside, there was mould on the tiles in the bathroom and bird droppings on the table. Holidaymakers feel that the holiday was not up to the five star standard.

Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at the Centara Grand Beach Resort Villas as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
