Club Hotel Pineta, Marmaris, Turkey

Irwin Mitchell have recently been made aware of illness contracted amongst holidaymakers staying at the Club Hotel Pineta, Marmaris, in Turkey during July 2011.

One report details how the hotel was poorly maintained and organised, suggesting that there were almost 150 guests waiting to be allocated to their rooms, that people were falling asleep in the lobby after waiting so long and that stray cats would roam the hotel. It is also reported that bathroom was dirty, with moss growing on the shower curtain, the sink was cracked, the toilet was black and that dirty water would seep up through the drains whenever a neighbouring room flushed their toilet.

It is alleged that holidaymakers contracted food poisoning and that n ambulance had to be called. It is reported that the elderly woman was put on a rehydration drip for four days. Holidaymakers have reported the food as inedible and that they believe that the poor hygiene standards practised at the hotel was a cause of the illness.

If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
