Kolin Hotel, Turkish Aegean Coast

Irwin Mitchell has been alerted to problems being experienced by holidaymakers who have recently stayed at the Kolin Hotel, which is located along the Turkish Aegean Coast in Turkey, in the month of October 2010.

Recent holiday reports have indicated that large groups of holidaymakers are returning from their holidays suffering from symptoms of gastric illness. Gastric illnesses usually include symptoms of diarrhoea, stomach cramps, vomiting and lethargy and are usually contracted due to poor hygiene standards practiced at the hotel, particularly in relation to swimming pools and food. One report states that a guest of the hotel was required to seek medical attention from a local hospital whilst in resort.

It is said that one guest was diagnosed with Salmonella, a violent form of food poisoning which is often due to consuming contaminated food or water. Victims of this bacterial infection can often be left with permanent symptoms.

If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be entitled to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
