Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently holidayed at or a due to visit the Lara Beach Hotel, in Antalya, Turkey, after receiving reports of gastric illness amongst guests who stayed at the resort in June 2011.
Even more concerning is that Irwin Mitchell has successfully acted on behalf of holidaymakers who fell ill at this hotel in 2005 and 2010.
It has been suggested by holidaymakers that they fell ill with symptoms of gastric illness, believed to be food poisoning, which required them to be taken by ambulance to a local hospital. There was reportedly many others ill staying at the hotel. It has been suggested that the illnesses contracted may have been as a result of poor food hygiene and food handling procedures.
