It has been reported that holiday makers have become ill with symptoms of gastric illness after staying at the Litera Etap Altinel Hotel in Turkey in October 2009.
Guests have reportedly become ill with symptoms of gastric illness possibly due to poor standards of hygiene at the hotel. Guests claim that items served in the buffet area were undercooked, many of the dishes were reheated and food was mixed together and reserved. Guests allege that there were insects and animals on and around the food. The hygiene standards were reportedly poor and the restaurant area was dirty and with smells of sewage nearby.
