Bay Royal Weymouth Hotel, Dorset, England August 2011
International Travel Litigation specialists at Irwin Mitchell solicitors are concerned for holidaymakers who have recently travelled to the Bay Royal Weymouth Hotel, Dorset, in England during August 2011 after receiving reports of illness amongst guests.
It is reported that a family staying at the hotel were struck down with symptoms of illness believed to be noro-virus. It is reported that hotel management moved the affected guests from room to room, potentially spreading the illness further. Upon complaining, the guests were offered £25 off their next holiday at the hotel.
Noro-virus is characterised by projectile vomiting, symptoms which are usually short lived but can leave some victims with long term symptoms.
If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to pursue a claim for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you suffered.
For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
