Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn that holidaymakers staying at the La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc Hotel, Phu Quoc Island, in Vietnam, are returning from their holidays complaining of gastric illness. Recent reports relate to March 2011.
It is reported that a number of guests fell ill during their holiday, possibly as a result of the poor quality of food and the lack of hygiene standards practised at the hotel. One holidaymakers recalls how his partner was unable to leave their room for 36 hours because of the illness.
