We have recently been asked to help a young woman to pursue a claim following her accident in Monaco.
Our client was on a trip arranged through the Monaco Tourist Board. One activity organised by the Tourist Board was a bike ride on a vehicle which had two rear wheels and one front wheel. A brief demonstration was given before our client set off driving the vehicle with a passenger behind her. All of the other people in the group rode as passengers with an instructor driving.
The accident happened when our client lost control of her vehicle and it shot off at speed. She then crashed into a round-about. Our client suffered from several broken bones in her back and ribs. She also ruptured her spleen (which had to be removed), and injured her kidney. Our client is understandably very distressed by her injuries.
Following a lengthy absence from work, our client is making a gradual recovery. We are now liaising with local lawyers in Monaco in order to pursue our client’s claim and recover substantial compensation for her following her terrible ordeal.
