Leading the market in terms of exposure, profile and ability... having cornered the market in claims against tour operators and foreign domiciled defendants for accident and group action illness claims arising abroad... the firm is championed by many as the self-styled people's friend.

£41,000 recovered following coach crash in France
We recently acted for a woman who fractured her hip whilst on a coach tour holiday of France.
The accident happened when the coach that our client was travelling in stopped outside one of the hotels that the coach party was to stay in in Cannes. Three or four of the passengers stood up to gather their belongings when the coach suddenly drove off again. This caused our client to fall in the stairwell of the coach, causing her to break her right femur and injure her left knee and shoulder.
The case was pursued in England against the package tour operator and against the French insurer of the coach. Court proceedings were issued and the case almost went to trial before the Defendants admitted liability in full and settled the claim to the client’s satisfaction in the sum of £41,000.

"We really cannot thank Irwin Mitchell , and in particular Raman Jagpal enough for all their help in fighting our case against Thomson plc following our disastrous holiday in the Dominican Republic in July 2010. They kept us fully informed through every stage of the process and right from our first dealings with them we found them to be helpful, courteous, efficient and most pleasingly, of course, successful!
