Minibus Accident in Singapore

On 6 March 2005, outside Singapore Airport, Mrs Holloway was getting out of a minibus which was taking her back from the Hotel in Singapore to the airport. A large metal rod was protruding from one of the chairs on the minibus and Mrs Holloway caught her foot on this and sustained a deep laceration to her leg which required 17 stitches.
We were able to bring a claim against TravelBag, the Tour Operator as they supplied the holiday as a package, part of which was a stopover in Singapore with transport to and from the airport, including the minibus transfer.
We argued that the Tour Operator, TravelBag, failed to ensure that the mini-bus which they hired for this purpose was safe for use and would not cause injury.
The tour operator eventually settle Mrs Holloway’s claim for £4,620.

I was extremely happy with the way Irwin Mitchell handled our claim.
