£90,000 recovered following attacks during safari in Kenya
We represented twelve holidaymakers who travelled to Kenya. The party had booked the holiday as an all inclusive trip and each of the guests was offered a safari excursion.
Unfortunately, whilst on this excursion, the safari camp was attacked by bandits. During this ordeal, several of the guests were physically attacked and others verbally abused and threatened. Two members of the party sustained physical injuries, including a lacerated hand and damaged index finger and at least two of the women were threatened with sexual assault. All of the group were left shaken and traumatised by the events.
