Our client sustained an injury following an accident at a hotel in Crete.
Holiday Accident Crete
Our client was walking within her hotel complex, she walked down a ramp which had water flowing freely down it and slipped, falling to the ground. The water had come from a gardener watering the flowers. Claim pursued against Olympic Holidays.
As a result of the accident, the client sustained a fractured ankle. Fortunately, there was no permanent impairment.
Liability was never conceded as apparently the tour operator’s insurers were unable to obtain specific instructions from their team in resort. However, the tour operator’s insurers agreed to consider the claim. Eventually the matter settled for £6,500 plus costs
