Fall on Steps in Spanish Hotel
Our client was on a package holiday with Thomas Cook and was staying at the Compostela Beach Golf 3 Hotel, Tenerife, Spain.
During his holiday, he was walking down some steps to his hotel room, when a step underneath him broke away, causing him to fall down the steps.
Our client hit his head and suffered a cut to his right eye, which has left a small scar. He also suffered two cracked ribs on his right side, together with light bruising down his right side, which lasted for three to four weeks. It took our client two to three months to make a recovery.
Irwin Mitchell Solicitors acted for the client to pursue a claim against the tour operator, Thomas Cook.
Thomas Cook admitted liability and Irwin Mitchell Solicitors recovered £4,000 in damages for the client.
