Hotel accident in Gran Canaria
The Claimant and her husband were staying at the Hotel Suite Princess, Playa de Taurito in Gran Canaria. They had both stayed at the hotel several times previously and had always enjoyed their stay.
Unfortunately however, on the first morning of the holiday, as she went to reach into the fitted wardrobe in her hotel room to take out some clothes, the fascia board from the top of the wardrobe fell and struck her, knocking her to the floor.
The Claimant suffered serious injury and required medical assistance for her injuries, which included concussion and vestibular vertigo. After her injury, the claimant was forced to return home unwell and in need of physiotherapy to aid her recovery.
The hotel consistently denied liability for the accident and the case went to Trial on 20 June 2007.
After getting help and advice from the team at www.holidayclaims.com, the Claimant successfully recovered over £20,000 in compensation.
