€10,000 Awarded After Fall In Cyprus
Irwin Mitchell represented a holidaymaker who was injured when walking from his hotel to the beach during a holiday in Cyprus in 2005. Our client broke his leg when he fell on the path leading to the beach. The path was slippery due to loose sand particles. There was a handrail but our client was unable to use it to steady himself because work was being carried out on it at the time of the accident. Fortunately he made a good recovery from his injuries and did not suffer any serious long term damage.
Despite a dispute over who owned or controlled the path, Irwin Mitchell was able to secure damages for our client in the sum of €10,000.
