Compensation Following Stay At The Villa Doradas Hotel In The Dominican Republic
Leanne and Andrew Beven from Sunderland travelled to the Villa Doradas Hotel in the Dominican Republic with ten of their family for their wedding and a holiday of a lifetime. The trip was organised and booked with Tour Operator My Travel.
Whilst staying at the hotel Leanne, Andrew and the rest of the group all suffered with severe gastric illness. Their wedding day was ruined, as was the rest of the holiday. Some of the group are now suffering from permanent symptoms as a result of their holiday illness.
My Travel admitted that they were liable for the claimants’ illnesses and Irwin Mitchell secured compensation for almost £60,000 for them.
