Illness at Hotel L’etoile, Turkey

Client A and Client B were on holiday at the Hotel L’etoile in Turkey to celebrate Client B’s 50th Birthday. Within a few days of the start of the holiday they both fell ill with abdominal pain and diarrhoea and a loss of appetite.  

Client A recovered from the illness after 11 days, however, Client B continued to suffer from symptoms and was diagnosed with Salmonella. On returning home Client B missed 10 weeks from work, and friends and family worried about her health describing her as looking drained, pale, lifeless and weak.

Client B continues to suffer from symptoms to this day to include an altered bowel habit and a lack of energy. 

Client A and B received £20,000 in compensation.
