£12,000 awarded to British holidaymaker following slip on French campsite
We recently settled a claim for an English holidaymaker following her accident at Le Bois Dormant Camp Site in France on 9 June 2006. The accident happened when our client slipped on loose sand after leaving the Kids Club and fell to the floor.
As a result of the fall, our client landed on her left hand and broke her left wrist. She had an operation in France and continued her treatment with physiotherapy when she returned to England.
Following our investigations and subsequent negotiations, liability was eventually admitted by the Defendant. We issued court proceedings in England and shortly before trial, managed to get £12,000 for our client who was very happy with the outcome.
