BBQ Accident in France
Our client was invited to a barbecue while on holiday in France. Unfortunately, the host carelessly lighted the barbecue with fuel and it exploded, causing serious burns injuries to our client’s legs and resulting in a hospitalisation both in France and in England.
The case proceeded in France. Following negotiations, compensation in excess of €68,500 (approximately £56,520) was secured for our client, not only for her injuries but also for the earnings she lost during her time off work and in reimbursement of her private medical expenses.
