£1,070,000 for pedestrian knocked down by a car in Holland
In December 2000, Mr C was working in Holland, one evening as he travelled home from work he was hit by a car as he got off the bus. The accident left Mr C with serious injuries.
He fractured his left ankle, right femur and pelvis and suffered a very serious brain injury leaving him in a permanent vegetative state and permanently confined to a wheelchair. He is unable to communicate or do anything for himself and requires round the clock care and assistance.
Following discussions with the insurers of the car driver Mr C’ s claim was settled for £1,070,000.
