Published date:
16 Apr 2008
On 23 April 2004 Mr Purssord was driving a vehicle on the A1 road in Scotland. The trailer on a vehicle in front of him became detached and careered into the path of Mr Purssord’s car.
A road traffic accident claim was brought against the owner of the vehicle towing the trailer. It was alleged that he failed to correctly attach his trailer to his vehicle, which became detached and hit our client’s vehicle.
As a result of the accident Mr Purssord tore ligaments in his foot and suffered from post traumatic stress disorder.
Mr Purssord’s claim was settled for £12,000.

I was extremely happy with the way Irwin Mitchell handled our claim.
