Head Injury Onboard Queen Elizabeth Cruise Ship - April 2011

Irwin Mitchell is acting for Mrs Beth Jonk who was injured on the Queen Elizabeth ship during a cruise to the Canary Islands on 26 April 2011.

Mrs Jonk, a nurse with over 43 years experience, booked the 11 night cruise from Southampton to the Canary Islands with Cunard Line and departed on 19 April 2011.

On 26 April 2011, Mrs Jonk sustained serious head and chest injuries when she slipped on a wet area leading to the pool and fell backwards onto the tiled floor.  Mrs Jonk is currently undergoing treatment and investigations having returned to the UK, and has not been able to go back to work.
