Liberty Hotels, Likya, Turkey, October 2016
The International Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell have been instructed to act for a British couple who became ill following a holiday to the Liberty Hotel Lykia in Turkey in October 2016. The clients have reported suffering with diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps with one client collapsing as a result of severe dehydration.
We understand many others who stayed at the Liberty Lykia Hotel suffered similar symptoms.
Despite some positive reviews we note holidaymakers who stayed in the hotel in October 2016 complained about insects around the dining area, food being uncovered and in particular chicken being pink in the middle.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in the stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness we know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, with sometimes permanent long term complications arising such as Post infective Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled to this hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
