Ethiopian Airlines Plane Crash

Irwin Mitchell is acting for a British man following the death of his Son in the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash, on 25 January 2010, which was carrying 89 passengers and 9 crew.

The Ethiopian Airlines jet, which had taken off in stormy conditions, crashed into the Mediterranean Sea, with two Britons among the passengers. There were no survivors from the crash.

The Boeing 737-800 was en route to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia when it lost contact with the airport control tower and disappeared from radar screens, shortly after take off from Beirut airport.  Witnesses reported seeing a ball of fire in the sky before the plane fell into the sea.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown but an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
