Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently holidayed at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort in the Bahamas. It has been suggested that guests who stayed at the resort have suffered gastric symptoms.
Holidaymakers have complained that the food served was of poor quality with the food being undercooked, cold and tasteless. Further complaints suggest that the food was left out in the heat uncovered for long periods of time without the food being replaced.
Reports indicate that guests fell ill whilst on holiday suffering with symptoms of diarrhoea, stomach pains and sickness. It seems that guests have continued to suffer with their symptoms on their return home.
The gastric symptoms which holidaymakers have suffered may be a result of poor food hygiene and general health and safety procedures practised at the resort which has resulted with guests falling ill.
