Food related illness in Belize

Irwin Mitchell were concerned to learn of reports of illness from holidaymakers who stayed at The Placencia Hotel and Residences in Belize in April 2013.
One holidaymaker reported suffering from E-Coli poisoning whilst staying at the hotel and they were still ill once they returned home.
Despite a number of positive reports, particular complaints have been raised in relation to the food. These include, food dressings being stored in warm cupboards rather than being refrigerated and some foods that holidaymakers expected to be cold, were served warm.

Holidaymakers also raised concerns about the showers and baths not being cleaned properly and there were reports of cockroaches in the lobby area.
If you have travelled to this resort and have also suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
