Irwin Mitchell has received reports of illness amongst holidaymakers who stayed at the Laguna Park Hotel in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, during September 2015.
It is reported by the guests that some members of their party fell ill whilst staying at the hotel and some on their return home. Irwin Mitchell has been contacted by a number of concerned holidaymakers who stated that they have been diagnosed with Cryptosporidium as a consequence of their stay. Another visitor contacted our specialist team and reported that they had been diagnosed with Campylobacter.
The holidaymakers report suffering from symptoms including diarrhoea, nausea, fever, loss of appetite and stomach cramps.
Despite some positive reviews, guests have raised concerns relating to the food at the resort. On occasions, it has been suggested that food has been left uncovered and sometimes the food was reportedly served undercooked.
