ClubHotel Riu Karamboa, 2015

International personal injury lawyers from Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn that guests fell ill whilst staying at the Riu Karamboa in Cape Verde, during September 2015.

Despite some positive reviews, we have heard reports that some of the food was served lukewarm and on occasions, flies were seen landing on dishes. Other holidaymakers have expressed that the hotel’s chef handled raw meat without tongs before cooking it.

Guests have suggested that they fell ill with gastric symptoms including diarrhoea and stomach cramps, with acute symptoms lasting several days.

If you have also travelled to the ClubHotel Riu Karamboa in Cape Verde and subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we would like to hear from you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
