Hotel Riu Touareg, 2016
Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury team are concerned to hear of a guest falling ill with symptoms of gastric illness whilst on holiday at Hotel Riu Touareg, Cape Verde in July 2016.
Our International Personal Injury team have been contacted by a holidaymaker who visited the Hotel Riu Touareg in July 2016. Unfortunately, the holidaymaker reports that they fell ill during their holiday with severe diarrhoea, high temperature, fever and nausea. The holidaymaker reports that this led an unpleasant flight back to the UK and that their symptoms only worsened upon their return home. Irwin Mitchell are concerned to note that the holidaymaker was admitted to hospital as a result of their symptoms and that they continue to suffer with symptoms to this date.
The holidaymaker reports that they were concerned to see that at times there were cockroaches around the resort.
