Illness at the Iberostar Club Boa Vista Hotel in Cape Verde 2010
Irwin Mitchell has been approached to act for holidaymakers who travelled to the Iberostar Club Boa Vista Hotel, Cape Verde in July 2010 where guests fell ill with unpleasant gastric illness.
Holidaymakers have told us that they fell ill with gastric symptoms including diarrhoea and stomach cramps as well as headaches, sickness and tiredness. The hotel was described positively, but the food was served uncovered and new food was added to old food. On one occasion the water did not work and guests had to use pool water to flush the toilets.
