Hotel Riu Guanacaste, 2016

We're concerned about recent reports of guests falling ill at the Hotel Riu Guanacaste in Costa Rica while staying there between February and May 2016.

Despite positive reviews of the hotel, we're also aware that some holidaymakers fell ill gastric symptoms during their stay there. One guest claims that some of the food was “undercooked”, while another complained that they were given “the same buffet over and over and over”. Other holidaymakers report falling ill with gastric symptoms.

Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, we know first-hand the potential long term effects that can be associated with such illness, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

If you also travelled to the Hotel Riu Guanacaste in Costa Rica and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in cases like this and you may be due compensation.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will be happy to call you back.
