Arcadia World Cruise

A couple who embarked on a world cruise on the cruise liner Arcadia between January and April 2009 have contacted Irwin Mitchell after suffering respiratory problems during and after their cruise.

Mr and Mrs Williams from Sandwich, Kent booked the cruise to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary and this was ruined when Mrs Williams had to be admitted to the ship’s hospital where she was treated with IV drips and medication. She was also diagnosed at the time as suffering from pneumonia however, after further investigation in the UK. Mrs Williams illness was diagnosed as suffering from Legionnaires disease.

Irwin Mitchell encourages anyone that has suffered respiratory problems whilst cruising on the Arcadia to contact them with further details as you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday and also the pain and suffering caused by the illness.
