Azura Cruise, Norway, 2016
Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury team is concerned to hear of passengers falling ill with symptoms of gastric illness whilst aboard the Azura Cruise travelling to Norway in August 2016.
Our International Personal Injury team has been contacted by a passenger who suffered gastric illness while aboard the Azura Cruise. She was concerned that food was served at the wrong temperature - in particular the seafood salad was served lukewarm - and all buffet food was left out uncovered. She reported further concerns regarding a bad smell coming from the toilet in her cabin. This passenger suffered diarrhoea, nausea and stomach pains and reported that other passengers on board the ship suffered similar symptoms.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools. Having significant experience in assisting those unfortunate enough to contract gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury Lawyers know first-hand the potential long term effects that gastric illness can have, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
If you also travelled on the Azura Cruise to Norway and subsequently suffered symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
