Azura Cruise Ship 2012
Irwin Mitchell have now been instructed by a number of passengers who have returned from a holiday on board the Azura Cruise Ship in December 2012 booked with UK Tour Operator P&O. A number of the passengers have reported suffering from gastric symptoms including diarrhoea and vomiting whilst on board the ship and in some cases these symptoms have persisted on return from holiday.
Irwin Mitchell have acted for numerous clients who have fallen ill with gastric illness on P&O Cruise Line vessels in the past and it is possible that the illnesses experienced by holidaymakers were due to a breakdown in food handling and food hygiene procedures.
Despite some positive reviews, some passengers have described the food as “disappointing”, some passengers felt that some of the food being served on board the cruise was of was not hot enough and some food appeared undercooked. Other passengers were not happy with the cleanliness of the pools and the public toilets on board the vessel.
