Grandeur of the Seas

Irwin Mitchell’s leading International Travel Litigation Group are concerned to have learnt that some passengers have suffered from suspected Norovirus illness whilst on board the Grandeur of the Seas Cruise.

The ship was on a cruise around the Bahamas in April 2014, when it was reported that 6% of the passengers and crew members were struck down with symptoms of gastroenteritis. Increased cleaning and disinfections are reported to have been implemented to try and deal with the on board illnesses.

Norovirus can cause (amongst other things) watery diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, high temperature, headaches and aching limbs. Children and the elderly are particularly at risk.

If you have also suffered from symptoms relating to Norovirus or have fallen ill whilst on holiday, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim for your illness.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
