Legend of The Sea's Cruise Ship 2013

Irwin Mitchell has recently received reports from holidaymakers returning from a cruise, on board the Legend of The Sea’s Cruise Ship in August 2013, suffering from gastric illness whilst onboard the ship.

One passenger reported severe symptoms including diarrhoea, abdominal pains and vomiting. The symptoms were so extreme that they had to see the doctor on board the ship and an ambulance was called, resulting in the client being airlifted and taken to the hospital. Passengers on board the cruise have also complained that some of their cabins were not cleaned adequately.

Despite some positive reviews, reports also indicate that some of the food being served on board the cruise, was not hot enough and others noted that some of the food was left uncovered and sometimes served luke warm.

If you also travelled on this cruise and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
