Aurora Cruise by P&O Cruises – January 2012

The International Travel Litigation team at Irwin Mitchell are concerned to hear about an outbreak of illness after passengers fell ill onboard the Aurora Cruise between December 2011 and January 2012. It is alarming to note that this is not the first time we have acted for passengers staying aboard this ship. We have acted for passengers in 2008, 2009, 2010 and most recently 2011.

The Aurora Cruise was said to have an outbreak of serious illness onboard the ship. During the fourteen day cruise to Singapore, passengers on board the ship were suffering from sickness and diarrhoea. One holidaymaker describes how a large amount of people were affected by this, and how many people were confined to their cabins.

The holiday makers also state that public health announcements were made twice a day to warn passengers of the outbreak of illness and to make sure that they were taking the relevant precautions.

If you have also suffered from gastric illnesses whilst onboard any of these vessels , Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim for your illness, and also, the pain and suffering caused due to this.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
