Saga Ruby Cruise, 2013
Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn of holidaymakers returning from a cruise on board the Saga Ruby Cruise Ship, who have fallen ill during their stay in May 2013.
Some of the holidaymakers report suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps and reporting how they were confined to their cabin for five days and were unable to take advantage of a number of excursions. Some holidaymakers were treated on board the cruise ship both conservatively and with medication including the administering of an injection to help with symptoms.
Holidaymakers have also advised how they saw signs that other passengers were ill, even reporting that some passengers were ill at the same table for dinner during an evening meal. It has also been reported by some holidaymakers that an additional medical nurse had to be drafted in to cope with the increasing numbers of people falling ill.
If you also travelled on this cruise and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
