Holiday Sickness on the Arcadia World Cruise Ship

Irwin Mitchell has been contacted by a British holidaymaker who fell ill whilst aboard a world cruise which he joined at the end of February 2013 on the Arcadia Cruise Ship operated by P&O.

The holidaymaker sought medical treatment from the on board doctor after falling ill two weeks into the trip. He remained ill for the remainder of the cruise and was later hospitalised due to his condition. He was still ill upon his return home.

The holidaymaker reports how a number of other passengers on board the cruise ship were also ill suffering with similar symptoms to himself.

Irwin Mitchell are also acting for passengers who fell ill during their stay aboard the cruise ship in 2012. The passengers, many of whom suffered symptoms such as diarrhoea, stomach cramps and respiratory issues such as severe coughs while travelling on the cruise liner between January and May last year, also missed several ports of call as the illnesses hit passengers onboard.

If you have suffered from similar symptoms following a cruise on board the Arcadia, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim for the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.

For more advice on making an illness claim, contact Irwin Mitchell on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
