Azura Cruise, 2016
International personal injury lawyers from Irwin Mitchell have been contacted by a group of passengers who fell ill while on the Azura Cruise around Barbados in February and March 2016.
These passengers have reported that they suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, including diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pains and lethargy.
Despite some positive reviews on consumer review websites, one holidaymaker has suggested that the supply of water to the cabins was limited. This meant that they couldn’t shower or wash their hands.
It’s possible that the outbreak of gastric illness was due to lapses in hygiene standards and food handling procedures. Irwin Mitchell has acted for thousands of clients who have fallen ill with gastric illness and are experts in claiming compensation for clients who contracted illnesses abroad.
If you’ve also travelled onboard the Azura Cruise, and subsequently experienced symptoms of illness while on the vessel, we would like to hear from you.
