Illness on board the Emerald Cruise 2012

Passengers returning from their time on board The Emerald have reported that they fell ill with severe gastric symptoms including diarrhoea, stomach cramps, fever and vomiting. Passengers have angrily reported that the ship did not live up to their expectations and as it was advertised in the brochures, as the food in the restaurants appeared undercooked and often served lukewarm. Further reports include the food appearing to be reheated and reappearing at buffet serving stations at later serving sessions.
