MS Da Vinci, Nile Cruise

Irwin Mitchell currently act for holiday makers who are proceeding with claims following a holiday on board the MS Da Vinci Nile Cruise in Egypt.

The group of 4 which consists of 2 separate parties, arranged a Cruise in Spring and Summer of 2010. However, after arriving on the Cruise most of the group fell ill suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal cramps. 1 member was diagnosed with Salmonella food poisoning and continues to suffer symptoms.

The families were not warned prior to travelling to Egypt that there was a problem with illness on the ship

The group have stated that food served onboard appeared to be reheated, replenished and some food was left out uncovered. They also complained that the onboard pool was dirty with a ‘dirty ring’ at water level on side of pool.

Guest have also reported that area’s of the ship were inadequately maintained. Guest have complained that the room décor appeared shabby and dated and were aware of problems of leakages from air conditioning in rooms onboard.

If you also travelled to this on this cruise and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be entitled to claim compensation for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.
