MSC Orchestra Cruise Ship

Irwin Mitchell has been instructed by a passenger who suffered illness following their holiday on board the MSC Orchestra Cruise Ship between February 2015 and April 2015.

It is concerning to hear of a number of issues which our client encountered on the ship. It was highlighted that the food served was of a poor quality and that some of the members of staff appeared to be handling food and utensils in the self service restaurant without washing their hands first. It was also expressed that passengers who were unwell were not confined to their cabins.

Our client suffered from symptoms including breathlessness, coughing, loss of appetite, lethargy and fever. This individual was also aware of other passengers experiencing similar symptoms, in particular one holidaymaker who was diagnosed with Legionnaires’ disease.
