Colourful Coasts Cruise, 2012

Irwin Mitchell are concerned to receive reports of norovirus outbreaks on the Colourful Coasts Cruise Ship.

The ship was said to have an outbreak of sickness and diarrhoea during a seven-day cruise departing from Tenerife. Reports from holiday makers describe how they were confined to their cabins for the majority of their holidays and were told to take anti sickness and diarrhoea tablets.

The outbreak of norovirus calls into question the health and hygiene practices on board cruise ships and raises concerns about the adequacy of their cleaning practices.

The International Travel Litigation Group here at Irwin Mitchell specialise in handling international cases of illness and injury abroad. We are concerned for passengers and call into question the safety of passengers on board such vessels.

If you have suffered from any illness or were injured whilst onboard any of these vessels as a result of this incident Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you. For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
