Oasis of the Seas

Irwin Mitchell are concerned to receive reports from passengers who travelled on board Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas in May 2014 and suffered gastric illness.

Passengers report suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea, stomach cramps, vomiting, fatigue, lethargy and sweating. Passengers have told us that they had to be quarantined as a result of their illness.

Despite a number of positive reviews the passengers complained of some of the food being served at an incorrect temperature. Meat such as beef was on occasion said to have been served very rare. On occasion, passengers noted that scrambled eggs were not cooked fully and were very runny. Some of the food was said to have not been replaced properly in that new food was added on top of and mixed with existing food.
