Ryndam Cruise Liner – Holland America Line
Irwin Mitchell is concerned to learn that a number of holidaymakers staying aboard the Ryndam Cruise liner are returning from their stay aboard the ship complaining of severe gastric illness.
It is possible that a breakdown in cleaning and hygiene standards resulted in the illnesses being complained of, as reported by the Centre for Disease Control. Reports indicate that the cause of the gastric illness may have been due to the poor quality of food and lack of hygiene standards practised aboard the cruise liner. In particular, we have learnt that there are reports of food being served undercooked and recycled food was displayed uncovered for long periods of time. It is reported that guests suffered from symptoms including diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps.
